Recognizing the devastation to people’s homes due to the recent flooding in Constance Bay, Fat Tuesdays has teamed up with Lowertown Brewery, boom 99.7 and Ottawa Venues to raise money for their victims.
On Sunday, May 28th, from noon to 5 p.m., local musicians are donating their time at Fat Tuesdays, 625 Kanata Avenue, to aid the flood victims.
Performers will include, Dr. Ian Cameron, Constance Bay resident and local musical talent who owns Westboro Animal Hospital and has already been providing free veterinary services to local animals in the flood zone will also be lending his voice to the cause. Dave Kalli, known as “Ottawa’s Piano Man,” who has been entertaining audiences across Canada since 1976. Tyler Kealey has been a staple of the live music scene in Ottawa since the early 2000s. Performing his piano-based pop act three to four times a week over the last decade has cemented his raw talent and ability to connect with live audiences into a formidable force, bringing originality to each performance. Jeff Rogers, a R&B/Soul artist from Ottawa. A soul-singing, piano-playing musician, Jeff Rogers has over two decades of experience performing. Ottawa-based indie-soul-pop group leMeow, Mason Quesnel and more.
Lowertown Brewery is donating half the regular price of $6.20 of each draft sold, that means $3.10 going to the relief fund.
