Sens House Sports Bar and Grill officially opens to the public on Monday, July 28

A new destination in the heart of the ByWard Market set to open for Sens fans

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators), along with Ottawa Venues announced today that the official opening of the Sens House Sports Bar and Grill (@SensHouseOttawa), the 5,000 square-foot, 250-seat restaurant located in the heart of Ottawa’s ByWard Market, will take place on Monday, July 28. The ceremonial grand opening of the facility took place earlier today with an on-site ribbon-cutting by Senators president, Cyril Leeder, Ottawa Mayor, Jim Watson and Ottawa Venues owner Steve Monuk.

The official sports bar of the Ottawa Senators, located at 73 York Street, in second-floor space that previously housed the Hard Rock Café, will serve as the primary destination for Sens fans.

This partnership brings the Senators together with Ottawa Venues, a group renowned for their numerous successful establishments in the ByWard Market, including Fat Tuesday’s and Cornerstone

Bar and Grill. Construction of the restaurant began in earnest in mid-May.

Sens House will offer an unparalleled entertainment experience and Thursday’s opening will provide media with a first look at the state-of-the-art retractable roof, the facility’s 16 x 9 foot HDX-W20 FLEX screen featuring the highest degree of brightness and clarity available, and the 1,500 square-foot patio that will deliver one of the finest open-air dining environments in Ottawa during the summer months.

With heated floors on the indoor portion of the patio, fans will feel like they’re able to sit outdoors year-round. The feature product of Sens House’s extensive menu will be old fashioned flat top burgers at great prices.

This projector offers the highest degree of brightness of the BARCO HDX family and combines full source flexibility with ImagePRO scaling capabilities. Thanks to their singe bulb, quick swappable Xenon illumination and their high contrast optical engine these three-chip DLP projectors reproduce rich colors, creating a crisp and vivid image for the audience. We recommended this projector as it has flawlessly been used for large venue uses including shows by Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, etc…”

Senators fans will also be able to enjoy the best Molson Coors products as they watch every Senators game and major sporting event on the best quality high-definition television monitors in Ottawa. The location will also feature a retail store offering the latest in Senators merchandise.
